# Connecting your payout account

A payout account is where Stripe sends an approved withdrawal from your Creatures Wallet. Connect one before withdrawing or sending a private animal sale invoice; setup alone does not move or charge money.

You do not need it just to build or publish a marketplace listing. Eligible proceeds can stay in your Wallet until you are ready to withdraw.

## Choose personal or organization payouts

- Use **personal payouts** when you sell as yourself. Open your Wallet or a **Set up payouts** prompt.
- Use **organization payouts** for a separate business bank account. Open the organization's **Edit profile**, find **Bank Account**, then choose **Connect a different bank account** or **Complete Stripe Setup**. Only an owner or co-owner can manage it.

A personal account asks for your details and bank. An organization account may also ask about the business and the people who own or control it.

## Continue to Stripe

1. Choose **Account country** for personal payouts or **Organization country** for business payouts. Use where you pay taxes for a personal account, or where the business is legally based for an organization.
2. Check the choice carefully. Stripe cannot change the account country after the account is created.
3. Choose **Continue to Stripe**.
4. On Stripe, provide the requested identity or business details, a short description of what you do, a website or social profile, and the bank account that should receive withdrawals.
5. Return to Creatures after you finish, or come back later to continue an incomplete setup.

Stripe collects bank and tax details directly. You enter those details on Stripe, not on Creatures.

## Organization setup

Make sure the setup page names the correct organization before continuing. This creates the organization's own connected account, separate from your personal one.

If you manage several organizations, repeat setup only for those that need a separate bank account. Where available, **Where [organization name] gets paid** in **Edit profile** lets you choose another account you control instead.

## Connected is not always ready

Creating the Stripe account connects it to Creatures. It becomes payout-ready after Stripe enables payouts for the completed banking and verification details.

If the account is connected but a withdrawal is still unavailable:

- return to Stripe and finish any requested item;
- complete [identity verification](https://help.creatures.com/en/article/verifying-your-identity-1e3xy1a/) and any payout name review;
- confirm that you selected the personal or organization Wallet that owns the proceeds;
- wait for any seven-day first-sale hold to end or an open payment dispute to resolve; and
- allow time for Stripe to finish its review.

A payout name review pauses withdrawals only. It does not undo a sale or remove eligible proceeds from your Wallet.
