# Creature Cards: your animal's shareable card

A Creature Card is a free digital card you can share from a public animal profile. It brings the animal's photo, name, and selected details together with a link back to its living profile.

## Open and share a card

1. Open a public owned animal profile.
2. Select **Creature Card**.
3. Select **Flip card** to see the back.

4. Select **Share card** to copy or send the card link.

Anyone with the link can view the card without an account. Scanning the code on its back opens the same live card, where a visitor can continue to the full animal profile.

The profile's **Creature Card** shortcut is for public owned animals. Private and draft profiles cannot have a public card page.

## Personalize your animal's card

Owners and co-owners can customize cards. Opening **Creature Card** from your animal's profile may open the editor automatically; otherwise select **Customize** on the card page. The animal needs a name and photo before a card can be created.

The preview updates while you work. Use **Show back** to check both sides. You can change:

- **Template** and **Edition** change the style. **Champion** needs a qualifying public show result, such as first place or best in show; it is not a separate verification badge.
- The photo controls let you choose an image and adjust its framing. Photo and framing changes save as you make them.
- **Sex**, **Birthday**, and **Home location** let you choose which available details to include.
- **Card bio** is the introduction on the back. Keep it short and check the preview; **Help me write** can suggest a draft.

Select **Save card** to keep the remaining choices. Then use **Preview as a visitor** to check exactly what other people will see.
