Filter by species, breed and state, then call, email or visit a breeder's website right from the results. ## Open the Directory On a computer, select **Directory** in the menu at the top of any page. On a phone, tap the menu button (three lines) at the top right, then **Directory**. The Directory page has: - **Search the directory**, to look up a business by name - **Breeders**, **Animals** and **Registries**, to browse each kind of listing - **Find animal service providers**, for hoof care, shearing, reproduction, processing and transport - **Find breeders by species** and **Popular searches**, as quick places to start ## Find breeders 1. Select **Breeders**, or pick a species under **Find breeders by species**. 2. Narrow the list with **All Species**, **All Breeds** and **All States**, or type a name in **Search by business name**. 3. On a phone, the filters fold into one row that names your search. Tap **Change** to open them, then tap **Search**. Each result shows the farm, its town and what it raises. Use **Call**, **Email** or **Website** to reach the breeder without opening the listing. Select **Get listing alerts** and Creatures will email you when new matching listings appear. You'll need a free account. ## Contact a breeder A breeder with a **Claimed** badge has a Creatures profile. Open it to **Follow** them or send a **Message**. Some listings were built from public business information before the breeder joined. They show the phone number, email or website we found, so you contact the business directly. Creatures can't pass on a message to a business that hasn't joined. To hear when that breeder joins, open their listing and look for **Not the owner?** If you're signed in, select **Notify me**. If you're signed out, select **Notify me if they join**, enter your name and email, then select **Notify me**. We'll email you a code to confirm. ![Not the owner? On the Directory page, choose a category under **Find animal service providers**: **Hoof Care**, **Shearers**, **Reproduction Services**, **Processing** or **Transporters**. 2. Filter with **Search by provider name**, **All Services**, **All Species** and **All States**. For **Processing**, choose a livestock species first. 3. An unclaimed listing keeps contact details private until the business confirms it owns the listing. Looking for a male to breed your female? Studs are in the Marketplace. Select **Marketplace**, then **Studs**. ## If nothing matches When no breeders fit your filters, you'll see **No matches found**. Select **Clear filters** to start over. Searched for a business name that isn't listed? You'll see **No breeder named** and the name you typed. Pick a close match under **Did you mean**, or check the spelling. A species, breed and state search tells you what's missing instead, such as "No Highland cattle breeders in Texas yet." It suggests other states and breeds that do have breeders. To hear when one is listed, select **Get listing alerts**. ## Is this your business? If you find your own farm or business, you can claim the listing, correct it or ask us to remove it.
