# Listing a boarding service

A boarding service begins as an editable draft. Add the care you provide, a monthly price for one animal, your screening choices, and real facility photos. Publish only when the page is complete and your provider setup is ready.

## Before you start

You can save a draft before verification is complete. Publishing and accepting payments require [phone verification](https://help.creatures.com/en/article/verifying-your-phone-number-1n2mfmy/) and [identity verification](https://help.creatures.com/en/article/verifying-your-identity-1e3xy1a/). You do not need a connected bank account to collect boarding payments. Complete [payout setup](https://help.creatures.com/en/article/connecting-your-payout-account-85mhws/) when you are ready to withdraw earnings from your Creatures Wallet.

## Create the service

Open **Dashboard > Services > Boarding**, then select **Create new service**.

1. Choose the personal or organization **Provider** that will offer the care.
2. Add a specific title and plain-language description. Explain the daily routine, what is included, and the animals the space suits.
3. Select every accepted species. A customer can apply or subscribe only with an animal whose species matches.
4. Set the **Monthly rate per animal**. Enter the price for one animal; Creatures multiplies it when a customer boards more than one. The allowed range is $1 to $100,000 per animal each month.
5. Choose **No minimum - Month to month**, or a 3, 6, or 12 month minimum commitment.

6. Choose **Private / Individual Housing** when animals are kept separately, or **Group / Herd Environment (Commingled)** when they may share space with others.
7. Complete the required **Service Details & Facility Rules** field. The Creatures Standard Boarding Agreement covers the shared baseline; add details such as vaccines, food, medication, visits, and drop-off. 8. Add the facility location.
9. Decide whether customers must apply first. **Require approval before customers can subscribe** is on by default. Under **Application Form**, keep **Use default boarding application** or choose a saved form for this provider. Approval lets a customer continue to payment; it does not charge them.
10. Select **Hide from boarding directories** only if you want to remove the service from those directories. It is not private: people can still find it in search, on the provider's profile, or through its link. You can still attach it to an animal listing. Publishing a hidden service does not create the usual feed announcement.

11. Add at least five distinct facility photos. Videos are welcome, but they do not replace the five required photos. Put the clearest image first because it becomes the main image.
12. Confirm that the facility meets the local licensing, zoning, and care rules that apply to it, then select **Save Draft**.

## Publish and understand the fees

Review the finished page in **My Services**, then select **Publish**. Use **Disable** to stop new applications and subscriptions without stopping current subscriptions. Select **Enable** when you are ready to accept new customers again.

The customer pays your rate for each animal plus a 5% service fee. The normal provider fee is 5% of your rate, so a $240 rate produces a $228 provider amount before any other adjustments.
