# Offering stewardship of your animal

Participating caretakers can invite monthly support for an animal they own or co-own, personally or through their organization. Open the [Stewardship Listings dashboard](https://creatures.com/dashboard/stewardship) and select **Create sponsorship**. You can also use **Create listing > Stewardship** from an eligible animal's profile.

The animal must be public, not marked deceased, and not already listed for sale, committed to a sale, or attached to another unarchived stewardship offering.

## Tell supporters what care looks like

Choose the caretaker under **Offer As**. Add an optional title and a description of at least 50 characters. Explain who the animal is, why support matters, and what a steward can expect. **Help me write** can suggest a description or terms; review its wording before saving.

## Set the monthly commitment

Enter a **Monthly Rate** of at least $5. Under **How often will you update stewards?**, choose weekly, every two weeks, or monthly updates. Supporters see this promise before paying, so pick a schedule you can maintain.

Set **Stewardship spots** to 1 for an exclusive steward or up to 50 for a shared Circle. For a Circle, you can let active stewards invite friends into open spots.

The steward pays the rate plus a 5% service fee. Creatures deducts a separate 5% caretaker fee from your payment unless you have Creatures Pro.

## Protect the animal's location

Choose the animal's location under **Address**. **Public location display** lets you show the city and state, the region only, or hide the location. Hiding the location also excludes the offering from distance filtering.

Add optional **Terms** for any animal-specific expectations. Stewardship never transfers ownership, custody, breeding rights, or guaranteed physical access.

## Draft first, verify before publishing

Select **Save Draft**. Review the saved offering, then select **Publish** from the dashboard when ready. If verification is unfinished, use **Finish verification to publish**.

You can save before completing phone and identity verification, but publishing and payments require those checks. A connected payout account is not required to collect money into your Creatures Wallet; you need one to withdraw. ## Manage the listing

On [Stewardship Listings](https://creatures.com/dashboard/stewardship), use **View offering** to review the public page or **Edit** to update allowed details. **Pause** and **Archive** are available only when the offering has no current stewards.
