# Paying with Wallet, Credit, and ACH

Eligible animal checkouts can use Creatures Credit and Wallet funds before charging the remaining amount to a card or US bank account. The checkout summary shows what applies to your purchase.

## The order Creatures uses

For a single-listing checkout, select **Creatures Credit** or **Wallet Balance** in **Checkout Summary** when you want to use an available balance. If you use both, Creatures applies them in this order:

1. **Creatures Credit** is applied first. Credit can be spent on eligible purchases but cannot be withdrawn as cash.
2. **Wallet funds** are applied next. Wallet is real money held in your Creatures balance.
3. **Your chosen payment method** covers anything that remains.

The animal cart and the auction-win checkout apply eligible balances automatically in the same order. If they cover the full one-time purchase, checkout can finish without a card payment for that amount.

When you buy an animal with boarding, eligible Credit and Wallet funds can cover the one-time animal purchase and fees, but not the recurring boarding charges. Review the separate monthly amount before agreeing to the subscription.

## Paying from a US bank account

When ACH is offered, choose the bank option and follow the secure connection steps. Bank payments can remain pending while they clear. The seller should not hand over or ship the animal until the purchase shows that payment is complete.

After it clears, an animal marketplace purchase without boarding follows the same held-funds process as a card purchase. Complete the handoff or transport-confirmation step only once the animal is in your care and the agreement has been met.

## Check the final amount

Before paying, confirm the item total, buyer fee, services, discounts, Credit, Wallet amount, and amount still due. Do not assume an available balance applies to every charge. The checkout summary is the record for this transaction.
