# Taking bookings: schedule, check-in, promos, and the calendar feed

Use your Booking dashboard to manage availability, prepare for guests, and record attendance. Opening the guest list does not change a booking or charge anyone.

## Keep the right offering open

Open **Dashboard > Services > Bookings**. Select **Publish** for a finished draft, **Pause** to stop new reservations, or **Activate** to reopen a paused offering. **Archive** retires it from new bookings; **Restore** makes an archived offering active again when its setup is complete. These actions preserve existing booking records.

Use **Edit** to change details or availability, then **Save changes**. Removing the address or last future bookable time pauses an active offering; use **Finish setup** to restore the missing details.

## Review and check in guests

Select **View bookings & check-in**. **Upcoming & recent** groups bookings by session and shows the guest, party size, payment details, and answers to booking questions. It includes upcoming bookings and sessions that started within the last seven days.

Select **Check in** when the party arrives. After the session's start time, **No-show** is available for a confirmed party that has not checked in. Neither action creates a charge or refund.

Before a session starts, use **Cancel & refund** for one eligible confirmed booking, or **Cancel session & refund all** for the whole session. The session button includes the booking count. Check the confirmation text, then select the same button again within a few seconds. Affected bookings are cancelled, guests are notified, and full refunds are requested. Contact Support if an expected refund is missing. There is no custom partial-refund control.

## Offer a promo code

In **Promo codes**, check **Provider**. Leave **Eligible offering** as **All offerings for this provider**, or choose one offering. Enter the code, discount, limits, and dates. Choose **Allow guest checkout** if people without an account should use it; guest codes cannot enforce a per-customer limit. Select **Create code**. The discount reduces the subtotal before fees and deposits are calculated.

## Keep a calendar copy

On **View bookings & check-in**, **Calendar feed** supports accounts that manage exactly one booking provider. Select **Create feed link** and copy it immediately; the full link is shown only once. Subscribe to it in Google, Apple, or Outlook. **Rotate link** replaces it, and **Revoke** disables it.

The feed only sends bookings to your calendar. It does not read outside events or block Creatures availability. Accounts managing multiple providers cannot create a feed yet.
