How to Earn Referral Rewards on Creatures


Anyone with a Creatures account can earn referral rewards by bringing buyers to the platform. You don't need to own an animal, run an event, or even be a seller. If someone buys through your link, you earn 1% of the sale price as withdrawable cash, plus any seller-funded boost on the listing they purchase.



You have three places to grab a link:


  • Your Dashboard. A general referral link sits in the upper section of your Dashboard next to your wallet. It points to the Creatures homepage and works for any purchase the buyer makes.
  • Any animal listing page. Click Promote and Earn to open the share modal and copy a link tied to that listing. See How to Promote a Listing on Creatures for the full walkthrough.

How rewards work


You earn 1% of the sale price on any purchase made by someone who clicked your link. Creatures pays this from its own commission, so the seller's payout isn't affected.


Some listings include a seller boost on top of the 1%. If a seller has added a boost (for example, $100), you'll see it in the earnings summary inside the Promote and Earn modal. You earn the boost on top of your 1% when that specific listing sells through your link.


The 30-day window


Your referral link tracks the buyer for 30 days. If they click today and buy two weeks later, you still get credit. Every purchase they make within those 30 days earns you a reward, not only the first one.


A few things worth knowing:


  • Attribution is platform-wide. If you share a link to one animal and the buyer ends up purchasing a different animal, you still earn on that sale.
  • Last click wins. If the buyer later clicks someone else's referral link, that promoter takes over the attribution and resets the 30-day window.
  • After 30 days, attribution expires. You won't earn on purchases the buyer makes once the window closes.


What buyers get


When you share your link, let buyers know they earn too. Anyone who purchases through a referral link gets 1% back as Creatures Credit, which they can spend on future purchases. Mentioning the buyer benefit gives people a reason to click your link instead of going direct.


When you get paid


After a referred sale closes, your reward shows up on your Dashboard under Rewards as pending. Creatures holds referral earnings for 7 days before releasing them to your wallet. Once released, you can withdraw the funds to your bank through Stripe Connect.


A note for sellers


You can promote your own listings. If you share your link and find your own buyer, you still earn the 1% reward in addition to your sale proceeds.
