Understanding Reviews on Creatures

As a member of the Creatures community, you can leave reviews on the following:

Organizational Profiles (for farms, rescues, or breeding operations)
Individual Profiles (for buyers, sellers, or breeders)
Animal Profiles (for specific listings or animals you’ve interacted with)

Reviews help build trust across the Creatures marketplace by allowing members to share their real experiences.

Types of Reviews

There are two types of reviews on Creatures: Verified Reviews and Standard Reviews.

Verified Reviews

Whenever a transaction is completed between a buyer and a seller on Creatures, both parties have the opportunity to leave a Verified Review for each other.

Both the buyer and seller will be invited to submit their reviews after the transaction.
Buyers and sellers have 14 days to write a verified review. Reviews remain hidden for 14 days or until both parties have completed them, ensuring fairness and transparency.
Verified Reviews display a “Verified” badge, showing that they are based on a confirmed Creatures transaction.
This is similar to how reviews work on Airbnb.

These reviews help other members know that feedback comes from a real, completed exchange.

Standard Reviews

Members can also leave Standard Reviews on any individual, organization, or animal, even if they haven’t completed a transaction.

While these reviews do not receive the “Verified” badge, they can still be valuable for sharing positive interactions or community experiences.

For example, if you met a breeder at an event or collaborated with an organization, you can leave a Standard Review to help others learn more about them.

Review Guidelines

Reviews are a key part of what makes Creatures a trusted, community-driven platform. They allow members to highlight great experiences and provide constructive feedback.

Be kind, truthful, and respectful in your reviews.
If you have a problem or misunderstanding, we encourage you to communicate with the other party first before posting a review.
If needed, Creatures can help mediate disputes to ensure fair outcomes.
Negative reviews are allowed, but please keep them factual and professional. We should try to be generous in spirit and assume the best about others in our community until proven otherwise.

We believe in transparency, safety, and accountability, and our review system is designed to uphold those values across the Creatures community.
