The Post-Sale Process as a Buyer
Here's how the post-sale process works once you purchase an animal and arrange pickup or transportation directly with the seller.
Before you start: payment clearance
Creatures supports several checkout methods, including bank transfer. If you pay by bank transfer, your payment can take up to five business days to clear before the sale moves forward.
Important: Your animal stays in the seller's care until Creatures confirms your payment is fully processed, especially with bank transfers. If you're not sure whether your payment has cleared, contact us and we'll help you verify.
1. Check transportation responsibilities
Scroll down on the listing page. If you didn't select Creatures Transport or the seller's Seller Transportation option at checkout, you're responsible for arranging transportation and pickup directly with the seller.
2. Coordinate transportation via messaging
Message the seller to discuss and confirm transport plans. Open their profile and click Message.
3. Wait for the seller to mark the animal as shipped
Once the animal is in transit, the seller marks it as Shipped on the listing page.
4. Confirm delivery
When you receive your animal, confirm delivery from the listing page. Only confirm once the animal has physically arrived and you're satisfied with its condition. Confirming delivery releases payment to the seller.

5. Leave a review
After confirming delivery, leave the seller a review. Reviews help future buyers make informed decisions and build trust across the Creatures community.
To check your order status, go to your Dashboard and open your Profile to see your active and completed purchases.
