The Post-Sale Process As a Buyer When the Seller Provides Transportation
Here's how the post-sale process works when the seller handles transportation for you.
Before you start: payment clearance
Creatures supports several checkout methods, including bank transfer. If you pay by bank transfer, your payment can take up to five business days to clear before the sale moves forward.
Important: Your animal stays in the seller's care until Creatures confirms your payment is fully processed, especially with bank transfers. If you're not sure whether your payment has cleared, contact us and we'll help you verify.
1. Get notified of your purchase
Once your purchase is confirmed, you'll get a notification.
2. Coordinate the delivery
Go to Manage Delivery to coordinate logistics with the seller. Use this space to share your delivery address, confirm timing, and send any access instructions the seller needs.
3. Watch for the in-transit update
When the seller starts the trip, they'll mark your order as In Transit. You'll see the status update on your end so you know your animal is on its way.
4. Receive your animal
The seller marks the animal as Delivered once they complete the handoff to you.
5. Confirm delivery
After you receive your animal, confirm delivery from the listing page. The order status changes to Completed, and payment releases to the seller.
Only confirm once your animal has arrived and you're satisfied with its condition.

6. Leave a review
After your sale is complete, leave the seller a review. Reviews help future buyers make informed decisions and build trust across the Creatures community.
