Understanding Auction Bid Increments

To keep auctions fair and competitive, Creatures uses automatic bid increment steps based on the current highest bid amount. The higher the bid, the larger the increment required for the next valid bid.

Current Bid Range (USD)

Minimum Next Bid Increment (USD)

$0 – $99

$1

$100 – $499

$5

$500 – $999

$10

$1,000 – $2,499

$25

$2,500 – $4,999

$50

$5,000 and above

$100

Note: If a bidder places an amount lower than the required increment, they’ll be prompted to raise their bid to meet the minimum increase.

For any bid up to $100, the bid increment is $1 more than the current highest bid.

On any bid from $100-$499, the next increment increases to $5.

From $500-$999, the increment then becomes $10.

From any bids between $1,000-$2499, the increment jumps to $25.

Realize that if the bid reaches the $2,500 - $4999 range, the increment becomes $50.

If the bid goes all the way up to $5,000 or over, the increment becomes $100.
