Understanding Team Member Permissions
Understanding Team Member Permissions
Creatures offers two permission levels for managing animals and organizations: Team Members and Co-Owners. Each role has different capabilities depending on whether you're working with an animal profile or an organization.
Animal Profile Permissions
Team Members
Team Members can help manage day-to-day tasks for an animal profile:
- Edit posts
- Edit gallery and images
- Update records
- Respond to comments
Team Members cannot list animals for sale or edit profile information (such as the animal's name, breed, or ownership details).
Co-Owners
Co-Owners have full management access. They can do everything a Team Member can, plus:
- List animals for sale
- Edit profile information
- Update ownership details
Organization Permissions
Team Members
At the organization level, Team Members have expanded abilities:
- Create new animals for the organization
- Edit posts, gallery, images, and records for organization animals
- Respond to comments
Team Members still cannot list animals for sale, even for animals they create.
Co-Owners
Co-Owners have full control over the organization and its animals, including listing animals for sale and editing all profile information.
