Your home screen and getting started
Your home screen combines a personal next step with community posts. Creatures asks up to two quick questions only when it needs more context. If no questions appear, use the Get started shortcuts already shown.
Personalize your first steps
If What brings you to Creatures? appears, choose the answer that fits best. You can also select Skip for now.
After you answer, Creatures may ask which species you work with most. Choose a species, Something else, or Skip. Creatures then shows a short Get started row, such as adding an animal, importing existing records, creating an organization profile, browsing the directory, or following nearby breeders.
The answers only personalize suggestions; they never limit which species or tools you can use. Selecting Skip for now hides the first question for a while and shows general shortcuts instead.
Browse the community feed
The feed contains posts and shared activity from the Creatures community. When more posts are available, select Load more posts at the bottom. New results appear after the current feed, and the button tells you when there is nothing else to show or when a retry is needed.
As you add animals, the greeting can suggest useful missing work, such as adding parents, a photo, registration details, a value, or a Creature Card. Dismissing a suggestion hides it for about three weeks; it does not change the animal.
Open the Dashboard for active work
Home is for discovery and quick suggestions. Dashboard is where applications, purchases, sales, bookings, transport, records, and other work that needs your action is organized.
An empty action center says All caught up or Nothing urgent right now. That means nothing in Dashboard currently needs your response; it does not mean your account is incomplete.
To make the home experience more useful, start with adding your first animal or import several animals together.
