Make a pedigree chart

The Pedigree Chart Maker turns an animal's parents and grandparents into a chart you can download or print. See Make a printable pedigree chart.

Create a name or brand

The Animal Name Generators and Organization Name Generators suggest ten names from your description, each with a short reason. Use the organization one for a farm, ranch, rescue or other animal business. See Animal and organization name generators.

The Cattle Brand Designer helps you build a livestock brand from letters, numbers and symbols. It also shows who records brands in your state. See Design a cattle brand with the Brand Designer.

Plan breeding and coat color

The Color Genetics Calculators compare two parents and show the colors their young could have. The Coat Color Visualizers show how genetics shape one animal's coat.

The Ball Python Morph Calculator, on the Color Genetics Calculators page, does the same for ball pythons. Enter each parent's genes or choose two of your own ball pythons. Gestation Calculators estimate a due date and pregnancy timeline for your species. Start from an Exact Breeding Date, or from an Exposure Window when the animals were together for several days. See Using the gestation calculator.

Estimate weight or a market range

What is saved

The tools don't add anything to your account on their own. Some results offer a next step, like adding an animal or saving a breeding record. Nothing is created until you choose that step and finish the form.

You need a free account to download brand files, save a pedigree chart to your animals, or save a pairing from a horse, goat, donkey, rabbit or ball python calculator. Results help you decide. They don't replace official records, a scale, an appraisal or lab testing.
