Seller fees and the Creatures Pro subscription
When your animal sells on Creatures, the seller service fee is 5% of the final sale price. It comes out of your sale money, not the buyer's payment, and you pay nothing if the animal doesn't sell. Creatures Pro waives this fee. Pro covers you and any organization you own or co-own, whichever one has the plan.
Where you see the fee
The note at the top of the listing form tells you whether the fee applies to this sale.
If you also sell as a farm or organization, the note follows the seller you pick under Sell on behalf of. For a farm without Pro, it says "Creatures Pro for you or the organization waives it." When Pro covers the seller you picked, it says no seller service fee applies.
The Fee summary near the end of the form repeats the fee just before you choose how to finish.
How the fee is worked out
- It is 5% of the final sale price: your fixed price, the winning bid, or an offer you accepted.
- It is worked out after any discount you fund, such as a volume discount or your own promo code.
- It is charged only when the sale completes.
What Creatures Pro changes
Creatures Pro is a yearly plan with two ways to pay:
- Annual Plan, Pay Monthly: $49.95 a month with a 12-month commitment
- Annual Plan, Pay Once: $499 for the year
With Pro, there is no seller service fee on your sales. Pro also makes ownership transfers free (without it, your first transfer is free and each one after costs $19.95). It removes the provider fee on boarding, genetics storage and sponsorship payouts, too.

Costs Pro doesn't remove
On a sale, Pro waives only the seller service fee. These can still come out:
- the buyer's 5% fee, if you cover it or a sale event requires it
- a sale event organizer's fee, if the event charges one
- a promoter boost you offered, if a promoter made the sale
- a volume discount or promo code that you fund

If a number looks wrong
Open the sale in your Wallet activity to see the fees and any boost that came out. Then check who made the sale: you, or one of your organizations. Your Pro covers both, and so does Pro on an organization you own or co-own. A team member's Pro doesn't cover the organization. Understand your Wallet activity explains each line.
