The health guarantee and if your animal arrives sick

Creatures does not apply one universal health-guarantee period to every animal sale. The seller's listing can include specific health promises or veterinary deadlines. Read those terms before paying and ask about anything unclear.


Check the animal before confirming


At pickup or arrival, compare the animal and paperwork with the listing and agreement. Follow urgent veterinary guidance first when the animal needs care. Keep photos, veterinary findings, transport records, and messages that explain the condition and timing.


Do not confirm the handoff or share the pickup code when a material health or description problem is unresolved. Confirmation releases any still-held seller proceeds.


Report while the action is available


Select Report an issue from the purchase and describe the problem plainly.

An eligible report moves the purchase under review and pauses payout while the unreleased funds and evidence are considered.

If something is wrong with Creatures transport, do not mark the trip Completed. After the transporter marks it Delivered, open the purchased animal's listing and choose Report an issue. Before then, message Creatures or the seller. If you bought the animal with boarding, the animal seller's proceeds were released at checkout rather than held until pickup; contact support promptly about a problem.


If the seller documented the handoff, use the report action before the displayed objection deadline. Once funds have already been released, do not assume the purchase can open a new in-app case. Contact support promptly and refer to the purchase, seller terms, and evidence you kept.


What an outcome can depend on


The listing, seller's stated guarantee, condition at handoff, veterinary evidence, timing, payment state, and applicable rules can all matter. Possible outcomes are reviewed for the actual facts; this article does not promise an automatic refund, return, or medical result.


The protection Creatures provides is the recorded payment and handoff process, including the ability to pause unreleased seller proceeds when an eligible issue is reported in time.
