Boarding your animals with a provider
A boarding subscription is a recurring monthly booking for one or more animals. Check the housing, accepted species, total price, and minimum commitment before you subscribe.
Choose a service
Open the marketplace's Boarding tab and select a service. Its page shows the provider, facility location, housing type, accepted species, minimum stay, facility rules, and monthly rate for one animal.
The amount beside Monthly rate per animal is not the full price for several animals. Creatures multiplies the rate by the number of animals and then adds the 5% customer service fee.
Apply or subscribe
The main button reflects the provider's screening choice:
- Apply to this service means approval is required. Choose matching animals you own or co-own, answer the provider's questions, and submit the request. Applying does not charge you. A pending request waits for the provider; an approval unlocks subscription for those animals.
- Subscribe to this service means you may continue directly. If you were approved first, the same button appears after approval.
Only animals whose species the provider accepts can continue. An animal with another active boarding subscription is also unavailable for a second active subscription.
Confirm the monthly cost
The confirmation page names the animals and shows the complete monthly calculation before payment.
For example, a $240 rate plus the $12 service fee is $252 per month for one animal. Two animals at that rate would be $480 plus a $24 fee, or $504 each month.
If the service has a minimum commitment, the summary repeats it before you continue. Payment setup can offer card or ACH, depending on the available Stripe options. Creatures Credit and a valid promo can reduce the first invoice; later invoices return to the normal recurring amount.
Manage or cancel boarding
Open Dashboard > Services > Boarding > My Boarded Animals to see the provider, monthly total, billing date, commitment date, and current status.
During a minimum commitment, cancellation is unavailable. After the commitment ends, or when there was no commitment, select Cancel Subscription to schedule the subscription to end at the close of the current billing period. The current period does not end immediately, and scheduling cancellation does not automatically refund that period.
If the cancellation button is missing, first check the commitment date and remaining-month message. Contact Creatures support when a payment or refund needs review.
Leave your review when invited
Creatures invites you to leave a verified review after your first renewal payment, or when the subscription ends if that comes first. The review window lasts 30 days, so use the invitation when it arrives instead of waiting for a longer stay to end.
