The Payout Process as a Seller

Here's how the payout process works once a buyer purchases your animal.

Before you start: payment clearance

Creatures supports several checkout methods, including bank transfer. If a buyer pays by bank transfer, the payment can take up to five business days to clear before the sale moves forward.

Important: As a seller, keep custody of the animal until Creatures confirms payment is fully processed, especially in the case of bank transfer payments. If you're not sure whether payment has cleared, contact us and we'll help you verify.

1. Check transportation responsibilities

Scroll down on the listing page. If the buyer hasn't selected Creatures Transport or your Seller Transportation option, you're responsible for arranging transportation and pickup directly with the buyer.

2. Coordinate transportation via messaging

Message the buyer to discuss and confirm transport plans. Open their profile and click Message.

3. Mark the animal as shipped

Once the animal is in transit, mark it as Shipped on the listing page.

4. Wait for the buyer to confirm delivery

The buyer receives a prompt to confirm they've received the animal. Wait until they've marked the animal as delivered before expecting your payout.

What if the buyer doesn't confirm? Contact Creatures support and we'll help resolve the sale.

5. Receive your payout

Funds land in your Creatures wallet once released. Release timing depends on whether this is your first sale:

To check on your funds, go to your Dashboard and open your Profile to see if the payment has been credited to your wallet.
